Add-on 0.1.0 · Blender 5.1 or newer

Animal Rigger Pro

Rig a four-legged animal in Blender. You click its joints; the add-on builds the rig, binds the skin and writes it out for a game engine.

A dog model with its animation controls: rings round the body, arrows and circles at the feet.

Six steps, always in view

  1. 1. SetupCheck the mesh and say what animal it is.
  2. 2. MarkClick about twenty joints. The list moves on by itself.
  3. 3. GenerateBuild the rig and bind the skin in one press.
  4. 4. WeightsFix the skin by hand, with test poses playing.
  5. 5. AnimateIK and FK on every leg, switched without a jump.
  6. 6. ExportWrite it out for Unreal, Unity or glTF.

Paws and hooves

Dogs, cats and big cats, horses, donkeys and zebras. Legs that bend the way that animal's legs bend.

Change it any time

Move a joint and rebuild. Your animation and hand-painted weights are kept.

Plain Blender

Anyone can open the file and animate it, with or without the add-on installed.
